The coating that is applied to Structural FRP Pergola Beams passes the stringent American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) Specification 623-07 Requirements for Organic Coatings on Fiber Reinforced Thermoset Profiles.  This is the same test that is used by the major window manufacturers certify the performance of their products.  To qualify for this level of performance the coating must exceed testing for adhesion, chemical resistance, and fade resistance.
